Customer Challenge
Johnson & Johnson were looking for solutions to help reduce their energy costs and fully utilize their building. Johnson & Johnson wanted to update their existing lighting, in a cost effective manner. Some innovative ideas were required. Scott Group also designed 3D graphics for Hot Desking and Meeting Room booking system.
Our Solution
Scott Group was appointed by Johnson & Johnson, to help reduce their energy costs, and help upgrade their existing lighting system.
By installing new LED Fittings, and Lighting Controls, Scott Group managed to reduce Johnson & Johnson's energy costs by 93%.
The existing lighting consisted of 4x18W 600x600 Fittings, which was replaced with new 30W LED 600x600 Fittings, that also included installing sensors into the new LED Fittings. There was also 2x26W PL Down-lighters, which was replaced and upgraded to 25W LED Down-lighters, which were also installed with lighting control sensors.
By installing the PoE LED Fittings with the controllers, we were able to achieve additional savings. The LED Fittings can be dimmed down to standby mode, when there is nobody in the room, then increases in power when occupancy is detected.
Scott Group also designed a software dashboard, which demonstrates the wattage and usage of each of the new fittings, that the client can view on a daily basis.
